The images below come from one of my favorite shoots I created with the help of Erica Espana of Twine Events and beautifully photographed by Chelsea of Chelsea Mitchell Photography. I’ve been wanting to do a shoot with a colored wedding gown for a while now. My original plan was to use a blush gown, but when I saw Sarah Seven Golden Lights dress at Lovely Bride in LA, I knew I had to have it. I paired it with La Tavola’s New York chevron linen in cream and gold, picked some amazing vintage pieces from Archive Vintage Rentals, Erica had Sweet & Saucy Shop create a beautiful blush pink 3 tiered cake, and Copper Willow designed the perfect invite suite. For flowers I used a palette of blush pink, orange, creams, and vibrant greens. Lastly, I called on some friends to be our gorgeous (and fun) models, and the wonderful Cortlin Tortorici did a great job on hair and make-up. This shoot was also featured on Style Me Pretty a few weeks ago, which is always an honor. I hope you enjoy it!
