Desi and Connie of Desi Baytan Photography, Erica Espana of Twine Events, and I got together and came up with this “behind the scenes” boudoir shoot taken the morning a bride gets ready for her wedding day. I’ve been wanting to do a boudoir shoot for a while and I was so happy when we all collectively came up with basically the same idea. Having a bride take some time alone with her photographer the morning of her wedding. Have the room set up beautifully with breakfast to give her energy to get through the ceremony, and then take sweet and beautiful boudoir photos to give to her husband on their one year anniversary – or some other special occasion.
We had an amazing team on board for all the different parts of this shoot. Sweet and Saucy Shop provided the oh so beautiful cake and mini desserts. 10.11 Hair and Make Up did such an incredible job getting our insanely beautiful model Kacy Hill camera ready. Copper Willow Paper Studio created a super pretty menu and hand written scroll for the bride to open from her groom. The lovely and subtly sexy lingerie came from Faire Frou Frou. And somehow we were lucky enough to get the beautiful Viola gown and several head pieces from Twigs & Honey, and from JLM Couture, wedding gowns that fairy tale dreams are made of. And what’s one of the best parts of this shoot? It’s in the newest Magnolia Rouge magazine! I’m so excited and honored to have this shoot in a publication featuring such amazing talent.
